ST KILDA v GEELONG, MCG, Friday, 7.50pm
Story so far: The two best teams of 2009 are proving to be so again 12 months later. The Cats have won their last seven to sit atop the ladder, while St Kilda's effort to be 9-3 with Nick Riewoldt sidelines for nine games is just as meritorious.
Why to watch: It's the grand final re-match and perhaps the preview as well. We know how the the Cats will go about it, so can the Saints' rigid zoning stop Geelong's run and carry? Scarlett and Johnsons are handy ins for the Cats, but they'll miss renowned big-game player Chapman. Without Dawson, the Saints backline looks a bit thin. It also has to be asked how the enws of the week will affect Saints pair Milne and Montagna.
We think: Not much separated the teams last year and the same applies this year. The Cats are surprisingly warm favouries, but we think it will be closer. They've been in slightly better form and still look better up forward. But with Ablett, Bartel, Selwood, Hayes, Goddard and Milne on the same ground, a ripping match awaits.

SYDNEY v COLLINGWOOD, ANZ Stadium, Saturday, 7.10pm
Story so far: The Swans are back on track, having won their last two after dropping four straight before that, while the Pies can only return a win and a draw from their last four outings. But they have won their last eight games against Sydney.
Why to watch: A marquee game on the AFL calendar. It is likely the last time Paul Roos coaches against the Pies and he would hate to go out with nine straight losses to Collingwood.
We think: Both teams look even on paper, but we like Bradshaw back for the Swans. They've been going OK without a key forward and now they have one back.

ADELAIDE v MELBOURNE, AAMI Stadium, Sunday, 4.10pm CST
Story so far: Dreadful for Adelaide, promising for the Demons.
Why to watch: Melbourne has lost its last 13 matches in Adelaide stretching back to 2001, and by an average of 56 points. Can the Demons turn this awful statistic around?
We think: The Crows have been OK at home and beat Fremantle last time around. If they get up and about, it might get a bit tough for the younger Demons.
