In his weekly look at the AFL, dual North Melbourne premiership captain Wayne Carey says St Kilda's morale has all but evaporated, and the grand finalists are in danger of imploding. ''Where's the team spirit gone - there's just no feeling out there,'' he says.
In dissecting the weekend's games, Carey said while Collingwood remains a class apart at the top of the ladder, the Western Bulldogs and Essendon have shown that the premiers are not invincible. "The Pies are beatable,'' he says.
The four-time All Australian captain also touches on Melbourne's diabolical performance against West Coast, Essendon's 'training run' against Gold Coast, Richmond's Dustin Martin, whom he likens to Mark Ricciuto, and says Chris Judd is the Robert Harvey of the 2000s - the premier onballer of his time.
