John Size's unbeaten sprinter ENTRAPMENT (three-year-old gelding by Halo Homewrecker - Miabondialee, by Vettori) continued his meteoric rise with a 1200m romp in Hong Kong last Sunday.

This is one exciting prospect as his 10/1-on quote suggests, but the performance was in keeping with this bay's potential.

First produced last February, Entrapment has clocked scintillating figures in several outings and he's the hottest young prospect in Honkers right now.

Also yet to meet defeat is Chris Waller's RAIN MELODY (three-year-old filly by Lonhro - Rain In Spain, by Marauding), one of a couple of impressive Canterbury winners last Wednesday.

Racing for the first time since a slick Kembla win last March, the bay is raced by her owner-breeders Don and Val Storey, who have enjoyed great success with this filly's family.

Although the margin was a mere half length, Rain Melody impressed in the way she knuckled down under pressure ... she's all Lonhro!

And BEG (two-year-old filly by Iglesia - Canny Lad, by Canny Lad) scored a brilliant win for Team Darley on the same card.

Coming from well off the pace, this miss mowed down more experienced foes in two or three strides, so Saturday competition now beckons.

The undefeated flavour continues with ZIPPY LOU (three-year-old filly by Street Cry - Zaozip, by Zephyr Zip), now three wins from three starts after Doomben last Wednesday.

John Petersen trains this miss at the Gold Coast and she justified her $1.75 quote to blitz older, more accomplished sorts over 1350m.

Well built, she has now hurtled from maiden company to a strong Class 3 win in the space of three outings.

STORM BURST (two-year-old filly by Danehill Dancer - Storm Fille, by Thunder Gulch) rounds off our quintet following her 4.5 lengths cakewalk at Cranbourne last Sunday.

From Peter Moody's yard, this racy type relished the drop from metropolitan standard to the provincial circuit but she's bound to pop up in town next time.

Tony Brassel is senior form analyst with Sky Racing.
