After a two and half week suspension, jockey Nash Rawiller simply is champing at the bit to return to riding at Randwick on Saturday. Rawiller took the chance to freshen up with a brief family holiday in Queensland but his boss, Gai Waterhouse hasn't missed him in the past week with plenty of trackwork riding.

The George Main Stakes will unusually see two of Waterhouse's star clash. Rawiller teams up with his good mate, Theseo ($3.60, TAB Fixed Odds) while Corey Brown stays on the $1.85 favourite More Joyous. Rawiller is well aware how well More Joyous is going but one thing's for sure, if the George Main becomes a fight to the line, Theseo will love it.

At Randwick on Saturday, we'll be able to watch the talents of Hong Kong based jockey, Weichong Marwing when he rides Masquerader in the Stan Fox Stakes.

Masquerader showed in his gallop last Saturday that he's a great ride for Marwing and he's drawn perfectly in barrier one to get a nice sit into the Group 2 race.

Marwing originally rode for Mike De Kock in South Africa and Dubai but since joining the jockey ranks in Hong Kong has won his fair share of Group winners. His biggest victory was aboard Viva Pataca in this year's QEII Cup at Sha Tin but his victory on local star, Fairy King Prawn in the 2001 Chairman's Prize runs a very close second.

Kim Kelly, Chief Steward for the Hong Kong Jockey Club told me this week that Marwing is very good at placing horses in a winning position and is particularly strong in a tight finish.

"The Pumper", Jim Cassidy reports Trusting's gallop at Warwick Farm on Tuesday should see the horse turning around his form from Newcastle.

Trusting tackles a very strong George Main Stakes at Randwick but Cassidy was thrilled by the work saying there were genuine excuses at Newcastle when the horse became unbalanced at a crucial time.

Black Piranha will have a new jockey in the George Main with Brad Rawiller jumping aboard. It's remarkable for a dual Stradbroke winner that trainer Con Karakatsanis can't get a permanent rider but maybe with a Melbourne preparation ahead this Spring, Brad Rawiller could be the man.

The Gooree team has some good hopes at Randwick. Leading their assault is Zutara, the $2.60 TAB Fixed Odds top elect in the Reginald Allen Quality. At her last start, Zutara raced three wide without cover and still had the tenacity to finish third to Pontiana.

The stable is very keen to back up in the Flight Stakes in seven days, so you would think Zutara has to be going close this weekend. Meanwhile it'll be interesting to see Nash Rawiller's tactics on classy mare, Kiss from a Rose in the Nivison.

The last start winner has to again contend with a wide barrier but Gooree's number one man, Andrew Baddock said she's a good developing mare.

Now to Caulfield on Sunday and we need to be watching the performance of three-year-old Conservatorium for South Australian trainer Gary Kennewell.

The son of Royal Academy is unbeaten from two starts in Adelaide with a win or a very good run on Sunday clinching Conservatorium a start in the Caulfield Guineas. Kennewell spotted the horse at the Gold Coast Magic Millions sale and despite not having any owners, bought Conservatorium. Since then, the horse has become the best horse Kennewell has laid his hands on.
