The Patinack Farm team, headed by trainer John Thompson, is gearing up for a busy week that they hope will produce winners in two-year-old races.
In the $250,000 Inglis Classic at Rosehill on Saturday, Pane In The Glass is a short $1.60 favourite with Fixed Odds on TAB Sportsbet. Thompson told me this week that Pane In The Glass travelled down from Brisbane well and there wouldn't be any concerns about her spaced racing programme.
The belief is that Pane In The Glass loves her races spaced and the 35-day freshen up is identical to what she had prior to her last win in mid-December.
Patinack also has un-raced youngster Boys On Tour running in a Blue Diamond Preview at Caulfield on Australia Day.
Remarkably, TAB Sportsbet Fixed odds has Boys On Tour well in the market ($12) for the Blue Diamond following an impressive trial win back in September. Thompson said Boys On Tour has been in Melbourne for the past seven weeks and is ready to perform following a couple of jump outs.

While Pane In The Glass is the dominant favourite in the Inglis Classic at Rosehill, it's a great effort by trainer Bede Murray to get two runners in the small field.
Murray rates his other runner, Western Classic, as the best of his hopes, saying the horse's latest run wasn't that bad because of a slow early pace.
Western Classic finished close to Combat Kitty in that race, which only last Saturday produced a grand effort to finish second to Karuta Queen in the Magic Millions.
Western Classic's stablemate California Poppy has the blinkers on after two runs in October but her small build may be against her.

The highlight at Flemington on Saturday is the listed Kensington Stakes.
Trainer David Payne says Cardinal Virtue has done extremely well since finishing runner-up on New Year's Day at Randwick in the Carrington Stakes.
Also lining up in the Kensington is the in-form mare, Warm Love. Trainer David Brideoake told me there was no reason not to back up Warm Love following her win last Saturday. Brideoake said the huge drop in weight to 53 kilos is a massive bonus.

The barrier draw for the Group One Telegraph Stakes at Wellington in New Zealand has thrown up some obstacles for the Australians.
First Command, trained by Lee Freedman, settled in really well but has to overcome the outside barrier (24). The locals say it's not too bad, with only a slight dog-leg turn.
Coup Align, from barrier nine, is a top chance in the Telegraph provided the track is firm, according to trainer Michael Pitman. Australian punters will recall Coup Align won the Apache Cat Classic at Cranbourne in the Spring.

In the world of harness racing there's plenty of action this weekend.
The Group One WA Pacing Cup is on Friday night at Gloucester Park. Imthemightyquinn is raging favourite but Washakie gets a favourable draw (five) in his bid to win back-to-back titles.
Then on Saturday night the Shepparton Cup will present the opportunity for talented pacer Villagem to tackle the standing start for the first time.
Villagem had a standing start trial at Tabcorp Park Melton last Monday and began nicely, winning the 2240 metre event over Tasmanian Cup winner Our Chain Of Command.
The race at Shepparton is just an appetiser for what's to come, with the Ballarat and Hunter Cups being run over the next two weeks.
