Flemington will be the centre of attention for most racing enthusiasts on Saturday when Black Caviar aims to extend her faultless record to 10 in the $1million Lexus Newmarket Handicap, but it's hard to make some money at the $1.25 quote.
I must admit I'm looking forward to watching the re-appearance of VRC Oaks winner, Brazilian Pulse, in the Kewney Stakes, this year reduced from 1600 metres to 1400 metres.
Trainer Mike Moroney reports Brazilian Pulse is in super order and has made good progress aided by two jump outs at Flemington.
At Warwick Farm, Moroney has Absolutelyawesome in the Turnpoint Randwick Guineas.
Glen Boss said on the 'Racing Retro' program last Sunday he has enormous confidence in the three-year-old but Moroney is aware Absolutelyawesome will have to produce on Saturday to earn prizemoney as he heads towards the Australian Derby.
Moroney is confident Absolutelyawesome will handle the Sydney way of going (clockwise), particularly after having secured barrier one.

Ain'tnofallenstar takes on Brazilian Pulse in the Kewney but her win at Morphettville last start was ultra impressive.
Trainer Lee Freedman is aware the Kewney is a rise in class but the Adelaide win showed Ain'tnofallenstar is capable of producing something special.
Freedman is rapt to see the form stack up with Always Discreet going close at Moonee Valley last Friday.
In other news from the Freedman stable, the leading trainer says he'd love to have a stable full of Mastheads. The two-year-old lines up in the Sires Produce and will be suited by 1400 metres.

Whobegotyou (pictured, above) might be the short priced favourite in the Blamey Stakes at Flemington but there's nothing wrong with the form of Dao Dao.
The pace, or lack of it, in the Blamey will go a long way to deciding the result but Team Hawkes know the horse will be a fair way in front of Whobegotyou in the early part of the straight.
Wayne Hawkes said Dao Dao is in great shape after his strong first-up performance.
Hawkes also will saddle up Pontiana in the second race on Super Saturday. The filly has developed nicely from her first campaign where she saluted twice on New South Wales provincial tracks.
Saturday's Sweet Embrace Stakes at Warwick Farm will be the avenue for the return of some promising two-year-olds chasing Golden Slipper glory in three weeks time.
Patinack Farm trainer John Thompson has been thrilled by the return of unbeaten filly Pane in the Glass. After winning her third race from as many starts, Thompson is pleased with his decision to miss the Blue Diamond. Pane in the Glass has put in a couple of strong gallops since being back and has drawn beautifully in barrier four.

WITH only a shower or two tipped before the Warwick Farm card starts on Saturday, the track shouldn't be a problem for Gold Coast visitor, Femina Fashion.
The four-year-old mare has improved her fitness considerably from her first-up run according to trainer Trevor Whittington and we should not forget her strong win in Sydney back in early January.

AND finally, another I predict to run better is Ginga Dude in the Dubai Australian Cup.
As we reported prior to the horse's first run in Melbourne, Ginga Dude had battled to overcome being stranded on the Auckland tarmac but he's now settled in extremely well and jockey Michael Walker was elated with the horse's gallop last Sunday.
