(Andrew Bensley is a senior presenter with Sky Sports Radio and Sky Racing.)
All eyes will be focused on the AAMI Golden Slipper at Rosehill on Saturday but the Group 3 two-year-old event, the Schweppervescence, will have a strong and even field doing battle.
Trainer Scott Aspery is rapt with the way Flight Of Pegasus has progressed since having finished a handy third to Uate and Hot Snitzel in the Skyline Stakes.
Asprey told me the original plan was to spell Flight Of Pegasus after his last start but the youngster continues to do extremely well in the stable. Last Saturday, Flight Of Pegasus worked on a rain-affected track without any concerns but Asprey feels a firmer track would suit better.

TRAINER Darren Smith reports Atomic Force should go close again in the Sebring Stakes at Rosehill. Winner of his last two starts, Atomic Force has really turned his form around and Smith says the use of his farm outside Newcastle has been ideal.
Big open paddocks and the nearby beach are helping Atomic Force recover from any niggles. Atomic Force has a strong 1100-metre record, winning four of his nine starts with three placings.

NEW ZEALAND trainer, Graeme Boyd, is hoping for a change of luck to compensate for a day he'd rather forget at Albury. Ginga Dude never really got into his normal position of sitting on the pace in the Albury Gold Cup.
Boyd, though, says the horse was never really tested and has since settled in beautifully to his surrounds at Wyong. Just to make sure, Boyd took a blood sample from Ginga Dude and it showed the horse was 100 per cent.

FOLLOWING a strong run at Caulfield, Kutchinsky is at his peak for the 2000-metre Queen's Cup at Rosehill. Trainer Tony Noonan has brought the promising galloper along slowly into the autumn but now feels Kutchinsky is ready to show his winning form.
Kutchinsky normally settles back in his races, however, from barrier four, Noonan is hoping Glen Boss will be able to secure a smother and burst through inside the final 200 metres.
Another Victorian heading to Rosehill on Saturday is Cedarberg in the Group One BMW.
Trainer Pat Carey is aware the horse will need to produce a career-best run to get in the placings but his gallop last week, with jockey Damien Oliver aboard, gave him great confidence.
Punters shouldn't be worried Cedarberg hasn't raced for three weeks. He's the type that doesn't require a lot of work. Saturday's run will determine whether Cedarberg continues on to the Sydney Cup.

DURING the next week, trainer Jason Clifford looks to have a couple of genuine chances in Melbourne.
Clifford recently has transferred from Hobart to Geelong and has already built a team of 17 horses with a few more to come.
Clifford says the facilities at Geelong are first class and that's allowed the horses to settle in a lot better than he expected.
On Saturday at Caulfield, Clifford saddles up Forbidden Quest in race seven. The 1500-metre race may be a touch short but if he runs in the first four, Clifford will be happy.
Next Wednesday at Sandown, Rocky Times runs in a 0-89 race and going by an unofficial trial this week at Geelong, he'll be going very close.
