THE WHISPER'S $100 BIG6 TIPS PRESENTED BY THE SPORTSMAN'S RAY HICKSON
The NSW TAB BIG6 will cover the last 3 races at Flemington and Canterbury - while the Victorian TAB BIG6 covers the last 6 races at Flemington on Saturday.
Last Saturday, The Whisper picked 3 legs of the NSW BIG6 and 2 legs of the Victorian BIG6.
(Flemington's race meeting will hold a massive BIG6 jackpot of nearly $100,000. To be held on races 3-8, the BIG6 will take in the feature of the day - the Cleanevent Handicap (2800 metres) - with healthy field sizes the order of the day for the entire program.)
Here are his BIG6 selections for this weekend:
NSW
Leg 1 - A cross meeting BIG6 kicks off with Flemington race 6 and there are four leading chances in Niblick, Tintern, Royal Commands and Miss Bindi. SELECTIONS: 3,4,9,10.
Leg 2 - The Lord Mayor's Cup starts the Canterbury half of the BIG6 and we'll leave it between Mr Clangtastic, Altered Boy, Shootoff and Vintedge. SELECTIONS: 3,4,6,8.
Leg 3 - Race seven at Flemington also has four top hopes with Bucellatti, Fanjura, Boom ‘N' Zoom and Lordoftheparrots. SELECTIONS: 2,3,5,12.
Leg 4 - Hood looks a good stand out in race 7 at Canterbury. SELECTION: 1.
Leg 5 - The last at Flemington is another open event but we'll go with Paparazzi Dreamer, Royal Bender and Rock Me Sweet. SELECTIONS: 2,3,5
Leg 6 - The last leg, and the last at Canterbury, is another toughie. Rhythm Of Dance, Rockin' Rocket, Yulalona and Intermac should run well. SELECTIONS: 4,7,9,14.
A $100 investment will return 13.02 per cent of the dividend.
Victoria
Leg 1 - A big field but a few handy types to kick off the Flemington BIG6. Include Turnitup, The Chevron and Yorkshire Lad. SELECTIONS: 1,3,4.
Leg 2 - The top four look to have the second leg between them with Liveandletdie the top selection. SELECTIONS: 1,2,3,4.
Leg 3 - The third leg is a very open 2800m staying test. Rusticated is a horse on the way up but thrown in several here. SELECTIONS: 1,2,6,10,11.
Leg 4 - Lloyd Williams-owned horses hold a strong hand in race six through Niblick and Tintern. The mares Royal Commands and Miss Bindi are good chances, too. SELECTIONS: 3,4,9,10.
Leg 5 - Another improving horse Lordoftheparrots looks nicely placed in the fifth leg. Dangers are Buccellati, Fanjura and Boom ‘N' Zoom. SELECTIONS: 2,3,5,12.
Leg 6 - The last leg looks pretty tricky. Royal Bender has good form heading into this and should run well. Include Paparazzi Dreamer and Rock Me Sweet. SELECTIONS: 2,3,5.
A $100 investment will return 3.47 per cent of the dividend.
