(ANDREW BENSLEY is a leading commentator on Sky Racing and Sky Sports Radio.)

The amazing success of Darley's two-year-olds this season has been well documented but now trainer Peter Snowden has the task of ensuring the "babies" back up to do it all again at the top level as three-year-olds.

It sounds simple but some youngsters, after a torrid first race preparation, don't regain their best form.

Snowden has had Sepoy back at his Warwick Farm base for nearly a month but the leading trainer admitted this week the horse probably would race in Melbourne for the entire spring campaign.

If Sepoy stayed in Sydney and tackled a race like the San Domenico, he would be forced to carry 59 kilograms and that's why Snowden is sending the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper winner to Melbourne to contest set weights races on the way to the Group One Coolmore.

Sires Produce winner, Helmet, though, will stay in Sydney to contest the Golden Rose and Stan Fox before heading to the Group One Caulfield Guineas.

NOW to Saturday's action at Ipswich and Sydney trainer Kevin Moses is feeling quite optimistic about the chances of Mr Unforgettable in the Eye Liner.

Since having been too far back in the Scone Cup, Moses has freshened up Mr Unforgettable as he comes back to 1350 metres.

A recent trial at Rosehill capped off the trip north and Moses is hoping jockey Larry Cassidy won't have to do too much work to settle on the pace.

One of the main threats to Mr Unforgettable is Drenalin.

Trainer James Lyons always has had the Eye Liner as the horse's main target this winter and his fitness levels have improved since his latest run.

Drenalin's gallop on Tuesday showed Lyons everything is spot on and another asset is the prospect of a firm surface.

THE Moonee Valley meeting has a number of horses that relish winter racing.

Trainer Mick Price has three genuine chances including the lightly raced Secret Hills.

The son of Starcraft was ultra impressive in winning at Bendigo by leading throughout.

But leading may not be the plan on Saturday. Price told me he had been training the horse to settle off the pace.

About Ready has in-form apprentice Daniel Stackhouse aboard with a nice three-kilogram claim.

Price stressed About Ready's fitness had improved nicely.

But the trainer confessed that the task of his other chance, Barangaroo, was a tough one from a wide barrier.

BENDIGO trainer, Allen Browell, saddles up Two Hills in the sixth at Moonee Valley.

Having not raced since last March, Two Hills is going into the 1200-metre race very fresh and that's normally the conditions that suit the horse.

Browell says Two Hills has had a couple of decent hit-outs and while he's never run first up at 1200, the stable is confident.

THE training partnership of Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra has been enjoying a constant stream of winners and Saturday at the Valley they're hoping it continues.

Royal Commands races at Moonee Valley for the first time but she goes there in red-hot form and when mares are on fire, you want to stay with them.

Royal Commands hit the line strong to win at Sandown and she'll press forward again on Saturday.

Another that is expected to run well is Minou in the last race.

Co-trainer, Simon Zahra, says the horse had a little jump out last Friday and appears to be ready to bounce first-up.
