Landis slams UCI drug officialsDrug cheat turned whistle-blower Floyd Landis has launched another round of damaging attacks on the international cycling establishment, which he claims has deliberately ''protected'' stars such as Lance Armstrong.
Having already accused his former teammate and seven-time Tour de France winner of doping - Landis's allegations about Armstrong in May inspired a US Federal investigation into performance-enhancing drugs and cycling that continues - the self-confessed cheat has now elaborated on the sport's apparently corrupt hierarchy.
