THE question Melbourne Victory fans have been asking ever louder - could the club's makeshift striker Robbie Kruse be a bolter for the Socceroos Asian Cup campaign next month - got a little closer to being answered yesterday.
Australian team officials refused to release their 50-man preliminary squad for the tournament last week, but had that work done for them by the Asian Football Confederation yesterday.
The AFC posted all 50 names on its website and there among them was that of the Victory marksman, who has bagged 10 goals from 13 appearances this season.
