ICC name all-time one-day sideFour Australians have been named in the International Cricket Council's All-Time one-day team, while South Africa's world record 438 run chase against Australia in March 2006 in Johannesburg was voted the greatest match of all time.
The announcement of the winners was made to coincide with the 40th anniversary of one-day international cricket. The first match was played between Australia and England on January 5 1971 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Australia one-day captain Ricky Ponting was one of four current players named, alongside Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Muttiah Muralitharan, who has hinted he will retire at the end of this year's World Cup.
Muralitharan's selection meant there was no room for Shane Warne, but Glenn McGrath was named alongside Pakistan's Wasim Akram and South Africa's Allan Donald in a frightening pace attack.
