Tomic set to receive Open wildcardBERNARD Tomic's summer of uncertainty will end today when the Queensland teenager will almost certainly receive an Australian Open wildcard.
Open officials will today distribute the remaining four singles wildcards - two men's and two women's - with Tomic widely seen as having justified a discretionary invitation after a troubled start to the season.
Tomic is expected to leapfrog higher-ranked Australians, while Chris Guccione, John Millman, Carsten Ball and Greg Jones are also in the mix.
