AUSTRALIA captain Ricky Ponting supports the ICC's ejection of developing nations from the 2015 World Cup, in a departure from the views of other players.
This year's tournament opened on the weekend with New Zealand and Sri Lanka thumping minnows Kenya and Canada after India had accounted for Bangladesh by 87 runs on Saturday.
Unlike the current 14-nation format, the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand will feature just the 10 full-member nations after an ICC committee cut it back.
