JASON Culina and father Branko are confident family ties will pose no problem when the pair reunite as player and coach at the Newcastle Jets next season.
The Jets announced Culina's signing for the next three seasons yesterday after the midfielder was allowed out of the final year of his deal with Gold Coast.
Culina, 30, got his start in senior football as a teenager under Branko 15 years ago in the National Soccer League with Sydney United.
