NORTH Queensland Fury officials are hoping for the best but fearing the worst from their meeting with Football Federation Australia's Ben Buckley and A-League supremo Lyall Gordon in Townsville today, which is being held to discuss the club's future.
Speculation has been mounting that the FFA no longer wants the Far North Queensland club in the competition and is not prepared to subsidise it while it builds a fan base and trades its way towards economic viability.
