AFL coaches are pushing for more stringent employment conditions in a move sparked by last year's merry-go-round scenario in which several assistant coaches were approached and even poached by clubs while still contracted elsewhere.
As part of a wider push for better terms and conditions to be negotiated with the AFL at the end of this season, AFL coaches' boss Danny Frawley has established a working party to examine the often-tenuous agreements between coaches and their clubs.
