Bulleen Boomers won their first Women's NBL title with a 103-78 grand final triumph over reigning premiers Canberra Capitals in front of a boisterous home crowd at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Melbourne yesterday.
Bulleen, one of Melbourne's cornerstone basketball clubs, had won at almost every junior and senior level bar the national league.
