Eleven years ago, a 17 year-old Jelena Dokic lost her Wimbledon semifinal to then-second seed Lindsay Davenport, helping her reach a career-high ranking of 4.
Now, 28, Dokic is back on the grass at SW19 and will return to Centre Court in the second match on Monday against Italian sixth seed Francesca Schiavone after defending men's champion Rafael Nadal begins play.
"I did play on centre court [in 2000] and I played well there, I'm looking forward to it...at least I know I'll play tomorrow with the roof - that's always good to know," said Dokic, who said she had a penchant for big courts. "Generally this tournament brings back lots of memories for me.''
