Murray should ditch his mum: BeckerAfter Becker said earlier this year that Andy Murray should cut his ties with his mother on tour, she dismissed the criticism as "nonsense", saying it was "a comment from somebody who knows nothing about our family life". But the three-times Wimbledon champion turned BBC commentator stood by his view that she should spend less time on tour with him.
"I just question whether a young man needs to have his mother around all the time in his job. I may be wrong but I don't see the mother of Nadal or Federer or Djokovic," he said today.
