FREMANTLE'S hopes of securing Brisbane big man Mitch Clark may have been derailed by a huge late offer from Melbourne.
The Demons made their pitch late last night, offering a four-year deal believed to be worth more than $500,000 a season.
"The pitch from Melbourne was outstanding and he has to reflect on what's been offered," Clark's manager Colin Young said this afternoon.
