Premier jockey Craig Williams claimed his second Group I win in eight days when four-year-old mare Pinker Pinker stormed home to win the Cox Plate (2040m) at Mooney Valley on Saturday.
Williams, who piloted Southern Speed to victory in the Caulfield Cup the previous weekend, was rewarded for a daring ride as he shifted Pinker Pinker off the rail at the turn to challenge favourites Helmet and Jimmy Choux.
