FOOTY'S biggest stars are at the centre of a legal stoush between sports management giant IMG and its former leading player agent Liam Pickering.
Pickering quit IMG last year to create a rival venture, but is yet to declare his intentions publicly.
Superstars Lance Franklin, Gary Ablett, Dane Swan and Scott Pendlebury are among 50 former IMG clients expected to stay loyal to Pickering.
IMG is investigating whether Pickering is operating in breach of his contract and a 12-month non-compete clause.
