In his weekly BPL Vidcast, Wayne Carey says Justin Sherman might have got off lightly with his four-match ban for racially abusing a Gold Coast opponent, but recalls a time when there was plenty of racial sledging on the field - not towards Aborigines but players of Italian and Greek descent. The dual premiership captain comes out in support of the players in their pay dispute with the AFL, reckons Drew Petrie - who fell one short on Sunday of his own AFL record of 10 contested marks - is the in-form key forward of the competition, and looks at the bumper round of matches next weekend, headlined by Essendon v Geelong.
